Hi everyone.
I've created a blog looking for help to make an Applied Reasearch Project. I just started reasearching "How could the planning of Sun Peaks be made more sustainabe (longer lasting and more profitable)", meaning moving the layout around, adding addictional new items of some sort or just anything that will help the resort out on its own. I'm just looking for help to find information and facts. Please leave me any weblinks, book artciles and where they could be found and any addictional information.

ReplyDeleteI would recommend that you start by finding out who did do the planning for Sun Peaks and speak with them about it. They should be able to tell you which sustainable features were included and what ones were left out and why. Also consult with Jen to make sure that your topics do not overlap. For example, she could take Energy and you could focus just on land use.

ReplyDeleteKevin Ostapowich from 3rd year did a research paper on making the Tobiano project more sustainable. I am sure he would have some useful books and articles on sustainability. until next time, keep fit and have fun.

ReplyDeleteI was looking around about research for sustainability and came across The Natural Step for Communities. This book talks about methods to reach sustainability. Maybe it can help you.
